day trip to washington d.c.

{on the way to the washington monument i took a stroll through the national gallery of art sculpture with a few fellow interns form the conference i attended in maryland. my favorite sculpture was thinker on a rock.}

on saturday my friend katie and i decided to check out taste of the trucks, a food truck festival at broadway park. there were about ten different food trucks with a wide variety of yummy food. two trucks that stuck out at the festival were groovy guys gourmet fries and scout’s treat truck. scout’s was the only truck at the festival with sweets… so naturally it was my favorite. i...
